Here at Aston Manor Academy Sixth Form “maximising potential” is at the heart of what we strive to achieve. In addition to exceptional subject specialists, students also have access to an extensive support network, to guide them in achieving their goals for progression once their time with us comes to an end.

From the Data above we can see that of our 2017/18 KS5 Learners:

  • No Students were deemed to be NEET for the fifth consecutive year
  • The amount of students who applied to University increased by 4% since 2015-16.
  • 100% of students who applied managed to secure a University place – yet again!

None of the students who left us were declared NEET (not in education, employment or training).

With all our students, the process of establishing a clear path towards a successful future begins on their entry to the Sixth Form community. Enrolment interviews and a probationary period are used to ensure that students make the right course choices, to aid them in achieving their goals.
